Darren has been immersed in the craft beer industry, and in homebrewing in particular, for the past six years. He has won multiple awards as a craft beer brewer and is constantly experimenting with new techniques and ingredients. As an FSB brewmaster, Darren is responsible for writing recipes, brewing, and preparing the beers for service. Darren’s role as head brewer includes developing workshops for member-owners, providing guided tours of the brewhouse operation, and educating FSB patrons about our signature craft beers. Darren has a B.F.A. in graphic design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
George is a current FSB board member with more than five years experience in homebrewing. He serves as the liaison between the board of directors and the brew team and is the organizer of all FSB beer tastings. George has a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Wright State University and an M.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Cincinnati, and he has been working as an EHS professional in a variety of manufacturing environments for the past 20 years.
